Healthy mango jalapeno yogurt parfait
Do you like mango lassi? How about mango salsa? Here is a healthy yogurt parfait inspired by mango lassi and mango salsa!
Mango lassi is an Indian yogurt drink, prepared by blending yogurt and mangoes along with sugar, absolutely delicious. This yogurt parfait is like a deconstructed mango lassi π Mango salsa is a condiment made with mangoes, onions and Jalapenos. Mangoes and Jalapenos go amazingly well together which made me add Jalapenos into my yogurt parfait with mangoes and it magically tasted so much better!
Tips
- Use sweet mangoes! Mangoes taste the best only when they are in season. Frozen mangoes can be used as long as they taste good!
- I like to use yogurt that isnβt very tart.
- Greek yogurt or strained yogurt, plant based yogurt can be used too.
- Regular sugar or any other sweetener can be used instead of honey.

Mango Jalapeno yogurt parfait is a straight- forward, quick and easy recipe so lets get started! This recipe makes an individual serving, double or triple the recipe for more servings!
Healthy mango jalapeno yogurt parfait
Ingredients
- 1 mango ripe
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tsp honey or any sweetener of choice, adjust to suit your taste
- 10 roasted nuts I used pecans and almonds
- Β½ tsp Jalapeno finely chopped
Instructions
- Mix honey/sugar with yogurt and whisk to make it smooth.
- Chop mangoes into small pieces. If the mangoes are not very sweet, add a spoonful of your favourite sweetener and mix well.
- Deseed less than a quarter of a jalapeno and chop it into tiny pieces. Mix Jalapenos with the chopped mangoes. Note: We only want the flavour here of Jalapenos, not the spice.
- Chop roasted nuts into small pieces.
- Assemble the parfait. Take a tall glass and add in the mango jalapeno mixture. Next add a layer of sweetened yogurt followed by nuts. Repeat the layers and enjoy!
